I am so excited that you are here making dreams come true with me. I am a mother and grandmother. I am a math and science teacher. I am an adventurer checking off as many countries and cultures as I can while I can. I am a dreamer and achiever. I decided to start documenting my travel, food and family journey when after a 31 year relationship, I found myself divorced and at the same time facing an empty nest as my children had grown and began lives of there own. I will admit for a few years I struggled with the place I found myself in and had a hard time facing my new reality. After some time, extensive soul searching, counseling, and traveling, I realized AMAZINGLY that even though the old dream had ended, a whole new whole dream was waiting for me. I realized as the old saying goes: The world is my oyster. If I can dream it, I can achieve it. For the first time ever, I am able to make decisions only driven by my own imagination. I have complete freedom in my journey. Scary and exhilarating at the same time. There is so much world out there to see and experience. Please follow along and see where it goes….
